You grab the code you want and make sure you’re logged in so it uses your own user id number in the code. Took me a minute to figure that out, but you can doublecheck by seeing that it’s the number that comes up in the url for your profile in the NaNoWriMo site.
Then when you update your total on the site, it’s supposed to automatically update in the link as well.
