I remember when I was too scared to stand on my head. Now I can do it! It’s good to be upside down sometimes. It reverses not only your blood flow but also your perspective, mood, everything. Balance and respite.
I still need the wall though. I’m working toward the day I can do a headstand in the middle of the room. It takes more ab strength and fearlessness.
It was lovely to practice this morning in the new yoga space I made by moving furniture around in my living room. I did tree pose looking at the tree out the window. A nice way to transition from sleep into the day.
